This is the Style Awards Right?

This is the 2009 Style Awards right? I got confused for a moment looking at these pictures. Looks like Heroes star Madeline Zima found some red lipstick in her glove compartment and only had 10 minutes to get ready  while Pussycat Doll Melody Thorton, well something is just not working there, I can't quite put my finger on it. honestly she looks a little scary. What do you think?

Hollywood Style Awards 2009

And the winners are... (drum roll please) Well, who really cares who won, its all about the red carpet style right?

Some of Hollywood's fashion elite came out for the 2009 Style Awards. Selena Gomez wowed, with one of my favorite fashions of the night with flawless makeup, and a simple black dress with large shoulder poofs. Some other honorable mentions include; Jessica Lowndes with her funky sparkly black leggings, and the always chic Lauren Conrad in a super cute belted floral mini dress.

I want me some L.A.M.B.

Ok, I am not ashamed to admit in the 90's I was a Gwen-a-bee, even attaching rhinestones to my bra staps. Now 13 years later I am still inspired by Gwen's fashion especially her ultra chic and successful fashion line L.A.M.B.  I love the contrast of the tomboy look paired with the ultra feminine look. Yes, we saw you at the front row at the fashion shows during Paris Fashion Week

... we know you are a risk taker, edgy, and some would call a fashion icon. We applaud your effort and dare-to-be different style.... but honestly Rihanna, do you ever look at yourself in the mirror and say "Ok, this is too much"?  Or ever feel like just throwing on a pair of jeans and t-shirt once in awhile?
